At Tünde Hendricks Design, we believe a home should be a sanctuary of personal history. This high-end duplex villa in Ras Al Khaimah represents a reverse design journey. Rather than selecting art to fit a room, we allowed a single, hand-knotted Cinar Rug, a piece that moved our client to tears, to dictate the architectural foundation of the entire project.
Every room was engineered around a central ‘Love Object’. Whether a sculpture, a painting, or a textile, these pieces influenced our choice of colour palettes, technical lighting, and furniture silhouettes, ensuring the home functions as a living gallery.

The Master Suite: A Sanctuary of Light and Texture
Utilising the full potential of the villa’s orientation, the master bedroom features expansive floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the RAK horizon. The room is centred around a tailored headboard and bespoke lighting, including a “cloud-like” chandelier, blending art with ambient wellness.
The Culinary Duo: Entertaining & Kitchens
True luxury lies in functionality. We designed a dual-kitchen system: a high-aesthetic entertaining area for guests and a discreet, high-performance butler’s kitchen for preparation. Both feature handcrafted joinery designed exclusively by our studio.
